to start a Goods & Services Tax (GST) in Australia from 1 July 2000.
New updates for the following packages
An essential feature of our packages is the simplicity of use. We will keep this
intrinsic simplicity. In the new upgrades there is no extra work in entering
a typical transaction.
We have released
a new program
to help you produce the BAS (Business Activity Statement) BASiNET.
Some services (such as insurance) cover a period beyond 1 July 2000. You may have
to pay GST already on that proportion beyond 1 July 2000. Our understanding is that
for year ending 30 June 2000, you cannot claim it as a tax deduction, but you will
be able to get a credit for it next financial year. In CROSS-CHEQUE and ACCOUNTS
PAYABLE, simply set up a category for this GST, so you will be able to track it easily.
