Payment Summary Signatory
There is an alternative to
physically signing each Payment Summary. The ATO requires you to officially document
the name of each person authorised.
You can do this by writing an official letter on the letterhead of your organisation,
stating that each person is authorised to have his/her name as signatory on the Payment
Summary. The letter should be addressed to your own organisation, to a senior official
such as the Company Secretary or Chief Executive Officer or Managing Director. If
you have any queries about this procedure, please contact the ATO.
Just keep this letter in a safe place, so that it can be inspected by ATO if ever
required. Do not send it to the ATO, do not send it to Custom-Made Software Pty
Ltd. Just keep it on file.
From the Main Menu of PAY-PACK, choose Setting-up; System options; Miscellaneous
and enter Signatory.
