PAY-PACK 8.0
The latest version of Lewis PAY-PACK is
Version 8.0. We started to send it to customers in September 2005. We expect to
finish distribution in October 2005. If you have not received it by the end of October
2005, and your PAY-PACK maintenance is up-to-date, please contact

Version 8.0 has the
SuperBanking
option available.
There will be lots of changes mainly of the gradual improvement type. Fortunately
there are no changes to legislation that require new payroll features. Here are
some of the changes.
Reports
There are many more reports with the write-to-disk option. This lets the data in
the report to be written to a CSV file, which can then be read into other programs
such as Excel.
The Totals of Pay report can show the date of each monthly initialisation.
There is a new Month-end report showing a summary of the various deductions and allowances.
Employees
Some dates are now shown with 4 digits for the year. The main ones are the Date
Employed and the Date of Birth.
Pay Run
You can see PAY-PACK’s pay run number on the opening pay screen.
Utilities
There is a new facility to let you switch employer groups.
