Self-Print Payment Summaries

Taxation Office (ATO) Approval
Make sure your
PAY-PACK version
is 8.00 or later (although 7.70 or later will probably work). Check that you have
a
suitable printer
.
If you have printed self-print Group Certificates in previous years, you automatically
have approval to print self-print Payment Summaries.
Because Lewis PAY-PACK is a payroll package that conforms to the ATO’s specifications,
you automatically have approval to do self-print Payment Summaries.
Two Pages per Payee
PAY-PACK will print two pages for each payee. You will give both pages to the payee.

The Tax Return Copy, as shown on page 192.

The Personal Records Copy, as shown on page 193. The ATO has insisted that the
full Notice to Payee be printed on this page.
PAY-PACK will also let you print an Employer Copy for reference. Generally, you
will print two employees per page.
What about the ATO copy? The ATO does not want a paper copy. You must
send the information on diskette

PS's not printing, or printing rubbish

Make sure the PS Method is Self-print. From the Main Menu choose Choices;
Payment Summaries; P.S. Method.

If you are using the Windows version of PAY-PACK. For a
Class 2 printer
it is essential to answer Y to Use Windows Printer, on the Printer Parameter
screen.

If you are using the Dos version of PAY-PACK. Self-print can only be done
on Laser printers. Check that the printer is printing in HP LaserJet 2 mode.
